As a forecaster what kinds of movement do you see happening

Read the following scenario and identify a minimum of nine (9) affects to the staffing of Granny's Toy Company"

Triggers to Staffing levels in an Organization

The number of employees in an organization never stays exactly the same. It can even change day to day. Consider the following situation:

"Granny's Toy Company" has been in business for 35 years. They make old-fashioned wooden toys for children aged 6 months to 5 years old. Many employees started with Granny (there is a real Granny) and most were about 20 years old when they started. Another group of employees was hired about 8 years ago when it became popular to buy toys that were of simpler design and made of natural products. Total staff is 100 people.

They are about to expand and make additional products aimed at a slightly older group of children aged 6 to 8 years of age, and will have to expand their workforce by 12% as well as bring in new machinery and technology.

As a forecaster, what kinds of movement do you see happening in this workforce as a whole? In other words, what will affect staffing - what kinds of people things are going on that you will have to plan for?
