Arts Review: A Dance, Opera or Film event
Project instructions:
Must be Canadian Content. (That means Hollywood films, and visiting performers from the United States are not eligible.)
Must be creative.
Think about your “tone” and “point of view” in your writing. There are differences between a formal academic essay and an arts review. You are allowed to make occasional use the first person voice in your writing of the reviews since this is a personal chronicle, and I am inviting you to take your reader into your own, unique experience. However, the tone of the review should still have a moderate level of formality. I am expecting a polished style of writing.
Imagine that your target audience is an intelligent, curious person.
