This argumentative essay maintains that Meredith and Hoppough's (2007) arguments are biased and misleading because developed countries take advantage of globalization, while the poor are often victimized by it and others simply act passively as globalization washes across their shores as they lack minimum facilities such as human capital, infrastructures, domestic institutions, and corporations to be able to integrate in world markets.
