Your Argument Essay is based on the topic of "Artificial Intelligence." A collection of 3 articles + a glossary of AI terms provided to you to read and learn more about this Technology Development with its drastic changes in all aspects of our life.
- Your Essay Topic/Question: After reading the articles & doing your research to find out more about this topic, this is your turn to discuss the positive or negative impacts of this advanced technology on your field of study and/or future career. Explain your argument/claim by clearly stating your direction with 3 specific reasons/points. Step-by-step Instructions to Follow:
- The average time for doing this task is around 90 minutes to brainstorm, write, check, and revise your essay. So, set the timer at home to be sure you finish it onetime!
- Specify your direction/status (agree/disagree) in the introduction by writing a very strong Thesis Statement.
- Length expected: Maximum two hundred to three hundred words. Don't go beyond this WORD LIMIT.
- Your Essay Format SHOULD include 5 paragraphs: 1 Introductory paragraph, 3Body Paragraphs, and 1 Concluding Paragraph at the end.
- Use some ideas from the selected Reading. Use a minimum of one quote or paraphrase/summary statement(s) as evidence/proof to what you state in your essay.
- You MUST find 2 other External Sources from Seneca Library Resources or other reliable online sources to support your status & cite them properly in the Body Paragraphs of your essay.
- Use parallel structure in your thesis and concluding statements, and in any other sentences that list items/factors.
- Don't forget the in-text citation(s) and reference(s) at the end of your essay.
- Give your essay an interesting Title.
- Brainstorm your ideas and make a well-structured outline stating your main ideas and subdivisions
2Notes to consider:
Note 1: You are supposed to write, at least, FIVE paragraphs (1 Intro + 3 Body + 1Conclusion) on the above topic providing a thesis statement with points of support in the introductory paragraph, topic sentences for each body paragraph, supporting sentences and a concluding paragraph at the end summarizing/restating the main ideas mentioned in the body.
Note 2: Aristotle used these three terms to explain how rhetoric works.
