Write a 2-3 page essay in which you do the following:
1. Are morbidity rates and mortality rates of a population important? Please explain your response and give an example of each.
2. Describe the differences in the leading causes of mortality in the United States and in a developing country of your choice (for the year 2010).
Be sure to support your opinion with evidence from the literature.

• Depth - you go into detail to show more critical thought about the specific assignment.
• Clarity - the extent to which you elaborate and include discussion or examples as asked.
• Application - the extent to which you apply the information to a real-life situation related to the assignment, if asked.
