Are modern humans by nature an aggressive violent species

Problem

Models for Evolution of Human Behavior Humans are the only species of bipedal primates still in existence. Chimpanzees and bonobos are our closest species relatives. Investigating what we have in common and what is different may help us understand the behaviors in our extinct early bipedal ape relatives and perhaps the evolution of modern human behaviors. On the other hand ... maybe not. What do YOU think? Research chimpanzee behaviors and bonobo social behaviors and compare these behaviors to modern human communities in your answers the following questions: Discussion prompt: Are modern humans by nature an aggressive, violent species (like chimpanzees)? OR Are modern humans by nature a promiscuous, cooperative species (like bonobos)? OR Both? Or neither? Explain your answer(s).
