Models for Evolution of Human Behavior Humans are the only species of bipedal primates still in existence. Chimpanzees and bonobos are our closest species relatives. Investigating what we have in common and what is different may help us understand the behaviors in our extinct early bipedal ape relatives and perhaps the evolution of modern human behaviors.
