You are an admitting assistant in the emergency department, and you see the following note written on a patient's chart after the patient was transferred to a critical care unit. 

You want to practice your knowledge of medical terminology, so you decide to rewrite the note using medical terminology to describe the underlined selected terms.

Paramedics brought a female to the Emergency Department after she was involved in an auto accident.  The person was conscious and said she had pain under her left armpit and in her lower back.  She had a 2 " cut under her armpit.  She had her neck immobilized.  She had a large deep cut on her left middle arm and below that she says her fingers feel a bit numb. She had an X Ray of her neck with a side view first, to make sure she doesn't have any neck fracture.  The emergency physician ordered various immediate lab tests. The physician noticed a bit of dried blood outside her ear, so he used an ear examination instrument to examine her ears.  He also moved her left arm away from her body to suture her wound. She stated she wanted to up, but she was kept on her back until all of her injuries are evaluated.
