Applied Mathematical Method For Chemical Engineers
• Each student must work on a project that proposes a Chemical Engineering problem.
• The student must either create the problem or find a problem from a relevant source such as books that is focused on the application of PDEs (mass/heat transports, reactions, fluid mechanics, or combined). It also should include the use of ODEs, linear systems, etc.
• The solution methodology should include
1) Analytical
2) Numerical solutions,
3) One of the following (laplace or fourrier)
Provide the discussion and comparison of the three methods.
