Recommend at least one specific method to reduce the noise level using each of the following: engineering, administrative, or work practice controls. How would you take advantage of the wave-like nature of sound in designing a control method?
2. Apply the ALARA concept for worker protection during replacement of a pump in a system where removable contamination and radiation are expected to be hazards. Remember to discuss each of the elements of ALARA as well as the concept itself.
