Application of Positive and Negative Reinforcers
1) I have a classmate that presented this question; "How is it that a "positive reinforcement" will teach the child or person not to repeat the wrong behavior."
Personally I thought using a "negative reinforcement" was needed in this case to teach the child or person not to repeat the wrong behavior.
What is the correct answer?
2) Would a scenario using a using negative reinforcement works much better if paired with positive feedback. Why or Why not. If so please explain
3) What is the difference between a negative reinforcement versus a positive reinforcement.
