Assignment:
The student will complete Discussions in this course. The student will post one thread of at least 400 words:. For each thread, students must support their assertions with the textbook and at least 1 scholarly and 1 biblical citation in APA format. Each reply must incorporate at least 1 scholarly citation, and 1 biblical citation in APA format.
Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. Acceptable sources include the textbook, the Bible, and scholarly journal articles.
Initial Thread: You will discuss each topic with reference to course content and a biblical worldview. Present an opinion with research support (citing the textbook and 1 additional scholarly source) and integrate your perspective with a biblical worldview (citing Scripture at least once). There is not necessarily a right or wrong answer for these discussions; therefore, you will not be graded on your opinion but on the quality of your support of and reflection on that opinion.

"A family recently found out that their 8-year-old has ADHD, and they are trying to decide which treatment course they should choose. Based on your readings and research, share your opinion on whether parents should use medication to treat ADHD? Support your reasoning and explain the implications of either decision for children, families, schools/classroom, and society. What treatment would you recommend and why? Explain a biblical rationale for or against use of medications using scripture and biblical principles. In doing this, do not simply add a scripture to your discussion, instead, fully explain the application of biblical scripture to the topic of medication and children."
