Apple is an organization that uses control mechanisms. One of the control mechanisms that Apple uses is the market control mechanism. With the market control mechanism, Apple determines who the competition is, they look at the price comparison and they determine what their profit can be with the competition and the prices they are offering to the consumer. Another control mechanism that Apple uses is the Bureaucratic control. Apple uses this control mechanism to set up rules and regulations. They also use this control to develop a hierarchy within the organization. This benefit allows the organization to grow and expand; an essential mechanism that Apple has used to gain more control in their market. One of the most important control mechanisms that Apple has embarked on is the Clan Control. Clan Control is a control that involves another cultures, ideas and allows employees to be involved with the growth of an organization. Apple is a decentralized organization allowing employees to share their thoughts and ideas on processes that occur with the organization. The last control that Apple used within their organization is the Financial Control. All organizations should use this control. This control includes all the accounting functions; balance sheet, profit and loss statement, financial ratios. This control is very important because the organization can track all transaction and where the money is being spent. Without this control any organization can be in danger.
