Problem: A resident, who is currently on antibiotic therapy for an exacerbation of cough and runny nose, as well as on prednisone, reported experiencing body aches. Vital signs were as follows: temperature 98.7°F, blood pressure 127/75 mmHg, respiratory rate 20 breaths per minute, pulse 78 beats per minute, and oxygen saturation 95%. The resident was alert, oriented, and responded appropriately during calls. The nurse administered additional Tylenol along with the resident's new medications. The resident slept very well.
