Anterior superior alveolar nerve
It is a branch of infraorbital nerve which arises within the infraorbital canal. It gives a nasal branch which passes into nasal cavity to supply the mucosal lining of a portion of the nasal cavity. Before elevation of nasal mucosa and placement of grafts this nerve must be anaesthetized. Infraorbital nerve block is suggested.
