After the Civil War, women were denied any real political voice. And by that I mean they were still denied the right to vote. How did women express their political voice in the Gilded Age and the era in which Populism emerged, evolved, threatened and thrived? In what areas did women gain entry and have an impact, and in what areas were women denied access and impact?
