Quote one line of text from The Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Be sure to quote it properly with a citation. Title it using your full name, as you can see in my sample.
In another box, analyze that line with a close read, as we did in Unit One. Think about symbols, figurative language, repetition, etc.
In another box, quote a line from Tyson's chapter on psychoanalysis. Be sure to quote it properly with an in-text citation.
In a final box, use the line from Tyson to help you analyze the line from the play. What is being repressed? Why? How can you tell from the line?
