Milestone Assignment
Overview: For this milestone, you will complete a draft of the Introduction section of your presentation. The project represents a significant portion of your grade, so it is imperative that your ideas are well developed. This milestone will be submitted as a Word document. Note that this document, with revisions, can serve as your speaker notes for the project submission. Milestone One provides you with an opportunity to obtain valuable feedback from your instructor that you can incorporate into your project submission.
Prompt: The topic you select for this Milestone is the topic you will explore throughout this course. The issue is an event within that particular topic that looks at one aspect of it. Your chosen issue will be discussed further in Milestone Two. Review the suggested list of Example Issues and Topics for the Project document. Then, based on the issues and topics presented, address the following critical elements:
I. Introduction: Examine the importance of wellness in society and how it influences social practices as well as your discipline of study. To help guide your analysis, you will explore a topic that has been discussed in this course.
A. Analyze the importance (or lack thereof) of wellness and health in society and how it has sparked change in the everyday behavior of individuals or societies?
B. Analyze how social practices and our idea of wellness have shaped each other.
C. Analyze how wellness has influenced the everyday behavior of individuals in your discipline of study or the professional field you are interested in going into.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
