Outline
Prior to beginning work on this assignment, review all of the Required Resources. Looking ahead at your Paper, provide an outline highlighting the major points of your paper. In your outline, include all major ideas your Final Paper will address, with two to three sentence explanations for each.
In your paper, outline the following:
• Provide your thesis statement, which identifies the topic of your paper.
• Summarize your chosen topic.
o Describe your topic including whether you are focusing on treatment or punishment.
o Provide data to show how treatment or punishment has an impact on juveniles, the community, and the juvenile justice system.
o List the cultural and diversity issues present in your chosen juvenile justice problem.
o Describe how addressing your chosen perspective (treatment or punishment) contributes to the goal of a more just society.
• Analyze the empirical research on your chosen topic.
o You may use your Week 2 Annotated Bibliography to complete this section of the paper.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
