With technology advancing at an incremental speed, technology-mediated interview tools such as Zoom, Teams or Skype software has become common for interviewing candidates. However, there are many reasons that the use of technology can affect the validity and reliability of the interview. As a result, interviewers are likely to rate candidates inaccurately when using such a technology-meditated interview approach. Based on the above situation, analyze the effectiveness and limitations of using technology-meditated interview tools for virtual interview.
