Analyze sound off of five different surface areas; describe how the surface areas interact with the sound waves in terms of reflection, absorption, and diffusion. Consider the following questions: What are the physical characteristics of the surface? Is there any interference? Why may this surface be a good medium for some sound and poor for others (give examples) (e.g. a blanket absorbs sound and can be hung on a wall during band practice).
