Nano-electronic Course Project
Find a topic you are very interested in!
Spend time learning about the underlying problems in the topic area.
Analyze some part of one of the underlying problems using simulations or analytical techniques this part should not be a direct copy of published material, it should be your own computation or inspiration
Write it up / present it.
1) Identify project, write 1-2 page "proposal"
Identify topic; state objective; brief background; identify methods; provide some references
2) Preliminary review of topic:
Written report 3-4 pages or 8 ppt charts.
3) Final report of project: Due during Finals Week
Written 6-10 pages
Covers objective of project
- short review
- methods used
- results
- conclusions
- And: viewgraph presentation for 10 min + questions
