Discuss and analyze nationalism within the context of the study of international relations. Define its two main sub-types (civic and ethnic) that have been discussed extensively in the course, and define them (to at least some extent by contrasting them to each other). Please provide four unambiguous current or past examples of nationalism, at least one from each of the categories. After that, evaluate nationalism in a nuanced manner by discussing the extent to which it is, and/or its various sub-types are, good and/or bad in general and/or in the context of other subjects/topics covered in this course (e.g., regarding war and peace).
