Assignment: History Paper
Directions:
Respond to the following essay prompt in approximately five paragraphs, double spaced, with 12 point font. You may use the textbook, class notes, class slides, and other class materials as sources. No other sources will be accepted. Be sure to properly cite all sources.
Note: Do not use an excessive amount of quotes in your essay (more than two consecutive sentences) . I want to hear what you have to say, not the source. Excessive use of quotes will result in a reduction of points.
I wanted to make clear the chapters covered by Essay #4. The material covered by the essay is found in Chapters 10 and 11. In particular I'd like to point out Chapter 10, which covers in more detail many of the California related laws and acts.
Essay Prompt:
Analyze how the Civil Rights Movements, the Vietnam War, and other social turmoil in the 1950s and 1960s affected the ethnic groups in California. In your answer consider the effect these groups in turn had on the events being analyzed.
