Discussion Post: This Is How We Do Things Here
In their chapter on student success pathways, Kuh et al. (2010) talk about how DEEP institutions "communicate preferred ways of doing things and bond students to one another and the institution."
For this Discussion, select three of the DEEP institutions, visit their campus websites, and select a transition program (i.e. new student orientation, transfer student orientation, freshman year experience, etc.) to analyze how information and "preferred ways of doing things" are communicated to students at the institution.
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
