Project Objectives
To successfully complete this project, you will be expected to:
a. Analyze empirical and theoretical literature relevant to the selected research topic.
b. Demonstrate an understanding of how theories, principles and concepts of human services delivery apply to the selected research topic.
c. Apply concepts of diversity, culture, and cultural competence to human service practice within the context of the selected research topic.
d. Articulate how issues, trends, and concerns of both the historical and the contemporary institution of human services apply to the selected research topic.
e. Identify which types of human service organizations address the selected research topic and assess how they do so.
f. Analyze the effect of a theory or concept of management on human service organizations, relevant to the selected research topic.
Project Requirements
To achieve a successful project experience and outcome, you are expected to meet the following requirements.
a. Components: All course project components include the elements specified and meet the criteria stated in the Project Components Description section above.
b. Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message and is characterized by correct grammatical usage and mechanical elements of scholarly writing.
c. APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to APA (6th Edition) style and formatting.
d. Number of resources: Minimum of 12 resources.
e. Length of paper: Minimum of 15 pages typed double-spaced pages including the reference list; however, the page count does not include the title page, abstract, or table of contents. Over the page limit is permissible - under is not.
f. Font and font size: Arial, 12 point.
