Topic: Analyze colonization and de-colonization in Africa in the 19th – 20th centuries.

Instructions-explain the scramble for Africa, colonialism and especially the effects it had on both Africa and Europe. Address the beliefs Europeans had about Africans and colonized peoples in general. What ideals are necessary for liberation? What is the affect of globalization on post colonial nations? Address the issue of alienation in the colonial/post colonial context. Please note this essay should not just be a narrative, it should analyze the ideals associated with these movements.
