The analysis I - Making Observations and Establishing Connections / Considering Values Close Reading of very short stories from Stories that is attached.
Writing Instruction: Select ONE passage from ONE story. It could be a descriptive passage or an exchange of dialogue.
Analyze and interpret the passage. (Explain its significance, meaning, implications-your thinking about it.)
Then, select a second passage from the same story that you can relate to the first passage you chose. Explain the connections between the two passages.
Discuss and further comment on anything else that strikes you as interesting about the story, how it gets you thinking.
