1. A critical-cognitive analysis can provide the language strategies and different cognitive biases that occur in the discourses of a person. It helps to disclose the views that people hold on various issues and reveal their long-term intentions. Trump was blaming the government for the poor economy when he was a businessman but blamed the immigrants for the same when he was elected president.
2. The study shows the use of language by Trump in attempt to win the audience ahead of 2016 elections. It is clear that his use of language is powerful and persuasive. He uses the right words and short sentences in order to remain connected to the audience. I will definitely use such tactics while developing my manuscript for a better understanding by the readers.
