• Prompt: Select a political cartoon from the link provided below and prepare an analysis of the image. The minimum writing expectation is more than 300 words. The citation for the cartoon and any additional research used is to be provided on a works cited page. The assignment is to be typed/word processed, using Times New Roman or Arial font in size 12, double spaced and submitted via an e-mail to the instructor.
• Students are highly encouraged to consider and attractive, attention-seeking, humorous or witty title. Offer a candid analysis and interpretation of the cartoon, identify themes and messages, and perhaps offer criticism of the ideas expressed.
• This assignment should be written in the third person and maintain a professional literary tone. Irony and wit are acceptable, and appreciated.
• Students should include/insert a copy of their chosen cartoon at the beginning of the paper, and include a proper citation at the end of the paper.
