The task of each student is to produce an investment report on your assigned Muscat Securities Market (MSM) listed company. Imagine that you are working in the investment management department of a fund management company and is responsible for advising the fund managers on potential equity investments.
Assume that the fund managers already invest in the company that you have been asked to analyses and that they are considering whether to increase, reduce or maintain their investment in the company. It should cover the explanation of these concepts, calculation evidences like financial data, charts and critical analysis of the company's financial standings.
You will be assigned ONE MSM Listed Company and you have been asked to analyze the capital market standing of this company. The required basic financial information will be given to you in the form of spreadsheet to do the required calculations. You are free to choose the overall structure and content of the report but within your report you should specifically include the following:

Problem 1: An analysis of the company's capital structure using Borrowings, Equity, Cost of Capital, Return on equity and risk-return tradeoff involved in managing working capital.
Problem 2: An evaluation of share price performances of your company relative to sector and the stock market.
Problem 3: Comment on the overall performance of the company and a discussion of whether the share is likely to outperform the sector and the market over the next twelve months, including a recommendation on whether you consider the share to be a 'BUY', 'HOLD' or 'SELL'.
