Short Paper assignment
? In this exercise you are to write a short paper (1-2 pages of text) analyzing the term "white collar crime.- No cover sheet or APA required unless you want the practice. If you choose to do APA, any errors related to APA will not cost you points. I am looking for a thorough analysis of how the meaning of this phrase has developed and changed through the years since it was first introduced by Sutherland in 1939. Does it make sense to you? Does it fit into our contemporary society? Are there other, better ways for defining crimes that are often labeled as 'white collar'? How much of a factor is the media in all of this?
