This unit is dedicated to analysis and development of the most elemental organizational strategies: Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Goals. Collectively, these strategic principles set the "Directional Strategies" of an organization identifying the azimuth and destination for collective action within the organization based on environmental analyses assessing the internal and external aspects of the organizational market. After determining "What should we do" and "What can (or can't) we do", the net organizational effect of the application of this module is to establish "What do we intend to do?"

The initial post will contain the following information and/or address the following points:

  • Organization's Name is (Johns hopkins hospital).
  • Organizational Service or Product Line is (Gynecology Department).
  • Identification of strategic or marketing tool or concept being applied by the organization.
  • Identification and description of informational sources to support application of strategic or marketing tool or concept.
  • Actual or expected findings from application of tool or concept.
  • Description of how findings may be utilized to develop strategic or marketing initiatives.
