Identify, analyse and summarise the contents of an appropriately referenced and relevant Powerpoint presentation (to be found at the web site: https://mirror.mit-ocw.sbu.ac.ir/courses/chemical-engineering/10-391j-sustainable-energy-spring-2005/lecture-notes/ ) or a technical subject agreed in advance and generate a suitable Abstract and Academic paper that reflects the chosen content and that is presented in a format commensurate with that specified by Appendix 1 (an abridged version of https://www.inderscience.com/mapper.php?id=31 available at www.inderscience.com)
1. Access Appendix 1 and other relevant and associated material. Read, analyse, understand and follow the protocol for producing an academic abstract and associated paper for consideration of possible future publication
2. Identify, analyse and summarise the contents of an appropriately referenced and relevant Powerpoint presentation available at the suggested web site or one agreed with your tutor
3. Produce a relevant abstract based upon the chosen presentation. As guidance the abstract should not exceed more than 300 words
4. Develop an academic paper in which the content of the same presentation is explained in detail accurately, clearly, succinctly and in a way that would be recognised as good professional practice. As guidance the paper should not exceed more than 3,000 words.
5. Make good use of academic referencing throughout the paper using the Harvard referencing style for all sources (see Cite Me I’m yours and other sources)
6. For simulation purposes prepare the abstract and paper for submission as authentic documents. They should be word-processed, and written in the format as specified by the relevant guidelines
7. Construct a recognised assignment format and submit the abstract and paper (together with their formats) within that overall format. The abstract and academic paper obviously form the substantial part of the assessment for the assignment.
