Analyse and assessing theories issues influences and

Analyse and assessing theories, issues, influences and processes impacting on a selected individual's development and behaviour.

Choose one member of the Bartlett family and analyse the way they experience the events occurring in the family, and the ways these events have impacted on them. You can choose any member of the family including ones not examined in depth e.g. Kate or Tony's parents. (Note The Bartletts are a case study we analyse during the semester.) Note - you have a creative license to add more detail about your family member and context but you cannot change the event.

Proposed/Suggested Structure of the Case Study

Case Study report (no more than 2,000 words - not including references). The report must include the following Introduction, Body and Conclusion. Ensure you are using readings and other scholarly resources to discuss and support your case study including your analyses and interpretation of the case's experience of the event and the impacts. Below is a suggested format:

Introduction (approximately 200 words)
- Set the context: e.g. illustrating your understanding of the complexity of human development and experience and the suitability of a multi-dimensional framework.
- Outline the purpose of the case study :
o What are the aims of the case study:
To describe andanalyse the way your selected case experiences the event(s) occurring in the family, and the ways the event(s) have impacted on your case?
This is achieved by applying the multi-dimensional framework to consider how the framework applies to the person (including identification of the dimensions and their intersections); as well as using a range of theories /concepts (minimum of 3) discussed during the semester to discuss/explain the experience and behaviour.
- Outline the structure of the case study.
o This would be a few sentences describing and summarising the remaining structure of the report.

Body (approximately 1300)

To describe and analyse the way your selected case experiences the events occurring in the family, and the ways these events have impacted on them?

Description of the Case (approximate. 300 words)
- Who is the Case (this could include history/background)
- What is the family Situational context (event/adversity)
- What is the person's experience of the event and the ways these events have impacted on them (e.g. behavioural change)

Analysis of the Experiences of the Case(approximate. 1000)
How and why the person experience the event this way and the impact.
Demonstrate this through:
- Application of the MD framework to the person (including identification of the dimensions and the complexity and intersections of these dimensions);
- Use a range of theories /concepts (minimum of 3) discussed during the semester to understand experience and impact.
- You may consider using diagram(s) to help to further explain the identified influences and interactions. (However, you must use these appropriately see below).

Discussion/Conclusion(300 - 500 words)
Discuss the implications of the findings. This may include:
- Whatwas your key learnings about the case and their experiences of the event?
- What does this tell you about human development and experience?
- Why does a multi-dimensional approach to human development and experience make sense in social work and human services practice?
