An optical signal from a modulator can be sent to multiple

An optical signal from a modulator can be sent to multiple channels by the LCSLM. This; however, requires that the beam size from the AM is adjusted to match the size of the SLM area. Assume that both lenses in an AM setup are identical, thus resulting in a collimated beam when it is deflected.

-Design a system of two additional lenses that would change the beam diameter before it illuminates the SLM.

-What are the focal lengths of these lenses?

-Assuming that diameter of a lens is the same as the size of the beam that passes through it, find the f-number of the lenses that you selected.
