Assume you look at an object through a rectangular
prism of thickness d and index of refraction n. The object is located at a distance s behind back face of the prism. Find the location of the image of the object. Assume small angles where tan θ ≈ sin θ.
From the result you obtained, derive the relation between s, d and n for the image to appear inside the prism. Substitute n = 1.55, d = 1.00 cm into your previous results.
