An Investigation of impact of ethical behaviour (Honesty) of Project manager's towards perspective project team.

Problem Statement

Organisation creates the code of ethics and the project manager is works as a conductor to serve that value throughout the organisation as shown in fig.1. (Cassell, 1997)

Carson etc. (1982) defines the major difference between misleading and lying behaviour of managers. According to Carson misleading is mean to force person to believe in the fact that is actually not true whereas lying means always mislead the team by verbal way as and it is not necessary that every misleading is lying. In this study observe project manager's ethical behaviour characteristics and its influence on project team (Finegan, 1994). Ferrel, Fraedrich and Ferrel, (2015) stated the characteristics of ethical project managers:

1) Strong individual characteristics

2) Passion to do right

3) Proactive

4) Consider all stakeholders' interests

5) Ethical managers are role model for organisation values

6) Transparent and decision maker

7) Consider the holistic view of firm's ethical value

In organisation main component of manager in ethical behaviour is honesty towards organisation (Grover, 1993). He/She is the intermediate person link the higher management with team members.
