In the eighteenth century in Ireland, Jonathan Swift proposed something quite absurd and ridiculous to solve the famine problem, and you will be doing the same in your time period and country. For example, you could decide to solve the problem of obesity. Since a third of all adults have obesity, and it can lead to a greater risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer, it is definitely a problem. An absurd or ridiculous or not-realistic solution to this problem would be to send all the obese people to an island. In this bizarre world, they would be not able to come back until they were thin.
