In the event the engine-driven fuel pump (inside the engine) fails, the electric fuel pump will have to deliver the fuel to the engine at a minimum of 5 psig. On takeoff, the plane will be 12 degrees nose up and the engine will require 38 gallons per hour

a. Can the filter be safely installed?

b. If not, can the size of the electric fuel pump be increased to allow a safe installation?

c. How big a pump is necessary?
