AMITOSIS
This is direct cell division in which the genetic material is not duplicated and hence its distribution to the daughter cells is not precisely half and half, Both the cell and its nucleus simply elongate, constrict in their middle equal halves, forming daughter cells, such cell division occurs rarely under certain unknown abnormal or pathological conditions.
