American households are one-parent homes

The U.S. Bureau of the Census in 1995 estimates that 25% of all American households are one-parent homes. A sociologist believes that the true percentage is much higher. In a random sample of 80 households in one city, it is found that 24 of them are one-parent homes. Should we reject the claim that 25% of all American households are one-parent homes?
