Assignment:
If you could go back in time to visit/live in a time period covered by this specific class (American History from colonization to 1877), which time period would you choose and why? Please note - this does not include any other country or time period than what this course covers. Also, you can choose a time period we have not discussed yet this semester (for example, if you want to see Westward Expansion in the 1840s firsthand, but we have not talked about it, you can still use that option).
