Among the types of ADR (e.g., arbitration, mediation, etc.) discussed within the textbook, choose any two (2) types of ADR that you find interesting. Next, compare and contrast the main similarities an differences of the two ADRs that you have chosen and describe at least one (1) situation in which parties would choose to use one of them.
What does it mean when the court must have “personal jurisdiction” and describe the primary manner in which it differs from long arm jurisdiction. Next, a client comes into your office and wants to sue two potential defendants for personal injuries – one is a person and one is a corporation; what questions will you need to ask in order to determine if you can get jurisdiction over each of the alleged defendants?
