In the beginning of The Odyssey, many prophecies saying that Odyssey will return home and kill the suitors. Odyssey himself doesn't know about these prophecies but we (the audience) can. Also many other characters like Athena and Halitherses know that Odyssey will return home soon which what the prophecies are saying.
Is the prophecies in The Odyssey consider as a dramatic irony?
PS: I understand that dramatic irony mean when the audience knows something but characters do not.
