All Revenues for the government are recorded into a fund known as a consolidated fund. The consolidated fund account is kept by the treasury under the ministry of finance, and all revenues and grants received by the Government are paid into this account. No money can be withdrawn from this account without approval of Parliament, i.e. Parliament is the sole signatory to this account.
