alanine cyclealanine cycle in the

Alanine cycle

Alanine Cycle  :  In the alanine cycle the pyruvate formed from glycolysis  in  the muscle is converted  to alanine by transamination  reaction. Alanine is released by the muscle into the blood and is  taken up by the liver. In the liver, alanine is converted back to pyruvate by the reverse of the transarnination reaction that occurred  in the muscle.
