Instructions: Choose an ad you found/heard/saw in either a magazine, newspaper, TV, or radio. List the information that has been omitted from the ad. Additionally, include the ad itself or a citation for the ad if it cannot be included. Ads are rich and sketchy so they're perfect places to look for omitted information.
Assignment:
- What ad were you examining? Include a picture of the ad, if possible.
- Where did you find/see/hear it?
- Overall, what is the ad advertising?
- What was omitted? Why do you think it was omitted?
- Is the omitted information important to the item being advertised (in other words, would you like to know about the specific things being omitted before you purchase/use the item)?
If you were not able to include a picture of the ad, what is the complete MLA or APA citation? To earn full points the ad either needs to be included in your Canvas submission or the complete citation needs to be listed.
