Aim of the national safety and quality health service


National Safety and Quality Health Service:

The primary aim of the national Safety and Quality Health Service (OSQHS) Standards are to ‘protect the public from harm and to improve the quality of health service provision (NSQHS 2011, p3).

TASK: Select one of either of these two Standards:

a. Partnering with consumers OR

b. Blood and blood products

And use the scholarly literature to identify and explain the ways in which health institutions ensure the delivery of safe, quality nursing care in this area.

Referencing: APA6 style for referencing and presentation

Identify: Establish what something is.

Explain: make clear why something happens, or why something is the way it is. This will require critical reading of the literature and written analysis that demonstrates your understanding of key concepts/learning outcomes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6).
