This capstone course will address the topic of sustainable communities and their introduction into American society. Many people argue that development of a truly sustainable community is not feasible utilizing the current level of consumption that most Americans experience today. Additionally, many individuals comment that creating a self-sustaining community would be too economically invasive for it to be practical. After reviewing the required resources for this week, do you believe that it may be possible to create a sustainable community within the United States?
