After reviewing the concepts of tourism including: international tourism, domestic tourism, visitor, tourist, day visits etc: Has any of these definitions surprised you? Why or Why not? According to your understanding of these concepts, how would you classify international students at WVU or any other US institution who come to study for several years, when they visit tourism destinations in the US? Are they classified as international tourists, visitors or residents in relation to tourism?
